LG stands for "Love, Grandpa." I originally made these marshmallow sling shots for my grandchildren to enjoy. However, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, my daughter and I started brainstorming. We wished to help children and families to thrive in the isolation of quarantine; and we hoped for a way to lift the spirits of those who are tirelessly working on the frontlines of this pandemic. Another of my daughters is an emergency room nurse at a local hospital. She and many others are spending long, exhausting hours risking their own safety to give hopeful life-saving care to victims of COVID-19. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each Marshmallow Battle Gear Set goes toward supporting these modern warriors in fighting the good fight. So, while you and your children are waging marshmallow battles at home, remember those who are battling in emergency rooms throughout this great country and the world.
